Update

In case you're all wondering why I have been so slack lately, for one, check out the photos, this is where we are from week 1 to week 13 in the house rennos, that is Chloe & Michael standing in my kitchen to be (getting installed next week, WOOHOO). As you can imagine its been a whirlwind of shopping for house fixtures, ie ovens, stove, fridge, bathroom stuff, laundry, light fittings, door handles, just to name a few items & madly juggling builders, people for quotes, deliveries, etc

For two, I am actually as they would say 'in the family way' again so as those of you who have experienced it would know, food hasnt been a priority unless of course you mean trying desperately to feed my baby some healthy foods & not just a diet of ice cream, chocolate & cake.

I am starting to feel a lot better now though & promise to try & share some more cooking with you soon. It's Chloes second bday party coming up next month & we are having a bit of a shindig out at my parents so no doubt there will be lots of goodies, just have to remember to get the old camera out....

Oh WOW, first off...congratulations on your pregnancy and yes I sympathise with you all the way. Don't worry about feeding Chloe ice-cream...at least she's getting some food!!

Your house is looking wonderful and what a great looking kitchen shell, I see someone is peeking out from her 'blankie'? Mine has one too. I have to say...she has grown so much since I think the last image we saw was at her first birthday party?

Rest up...make notes and take pics along the way, your blog and readers can wait a little while longer.

Wow we are just about to contemplate (getting architectural ideas and quotes) doing almost exactly the same thing with our small weatherboard! Any tips in living through the reno?

Thks K & yes Chloe and her 'blankie' are inseperable at the moment, they grow so fast its cute to see them holding onto some of their baby ways though isnt it?

Towser - Tips - depends on whether you are living in or out while rennovating - we had to move out as the bathroom & kitchen were both demolished so impossible to live in. My tip is if you can afford it rent a place of your own & dont move in with family or friends, no matter how close you are if you're used to your own place it is maddening trying to live under someone else's roof for a long period of time, were 3 months in & counting down til we can get our own space back - GOOD LUCK!
